Mini State Novelty License Plates Being Deactivated

Hello,

I believe my listing may have been mistakenly flagged and removed. I sell mini novelty state license plates, which are completely legal and not intended for use on actual vehicles. These are clearly marketed as toys and decorative items for kids' ride-on cars, strollers, bikes, and gifts. We even customize them with birth dates, nicknames, and novelty text to further differentiate them from any real license plate.

I previously submitted an appeal under Case ID 18062744121, but received the following explanation:

This product has been identified as a license plate or a vehicle registration sticker that should only be distributed by government agencies…

I’ve reviewed Amazon’s Automotive and Powersports policy and am confident that my product complies. This is not a legal plate or government-issued product. It is a novelty item, made of lightweight aluminum, 3"x6" in size — far smaller than any real plate.

I’m requesting a second review of this ASIN (B0F6L4B87Q), as I believe it may have been misclassified. I would also appreciate guidance on how to adjust the listing if needed to ensure it aligns with Amazon’s policies, as I was planning to list the other 49 states and want to avoid similar issues.

Hello,

My brand name is being processed, there is NO BRAND name in the same or similar category on USPTO. I also checked AMazon.com. there is an author name like my brand. but the brand DOES NOT exist on amazon.com too. I received the below message from Amazon brand registry. I cannot also wait for another year, as my products are in manufacturing stage now I am very frustrated. Case ID 18046507621

I am unable to approve your application for brand to join the Brand Registry because:

The trademark application submitted is the same or nearly identical to a brand already registered on the Amazon Marketplace. To protect the buyer's shopping experience, we are currently limiting the quantity of brands with the same or highly similar names in the marketplace.

The 36 count box that shows up as 72 units received- Amazon isn't saying they think there's 72 units in a box that can only hold 36. Drilling down into the inventory ledger there's two listings for the same box. Same tracking number, same exact movement through the UPS system to the second including the same creation time same pickup time and same delivery time to the second. (Before you ask, a duplicate label, even if it worked, the package movement would be different and delivery time would be different, not exact to the second.) So there's the same package received twice....??

Hello everyone,

I’m hoping someone here might have advice or has gone through a similar experience.

I’m trying to list a new branded product on Amazon. I’ve purchased official UPC codes directly through GS1, and GS1 has confirmed that everything is set up correctly on their end. When I run a UPC lookup, the codes return accurate company and brand information.

However, when I try to list the product on Amazon, I receive this error: The SKU does not match any ASIN and contains invalid value(s) for attributes required for creation of a new ASIN. I’ve already contacted Amazon Seller Support several times, but I continue to receive the same generic response, with no real resolution. The UPCs are already printed on my product packaging.

Here's a quick overview of what I’ve done so far:

Verified the UPCs with GS1 — they are valid and correctly linked to my brand.

Attempted to create the listing through both the regular interface and flat file upload.

Reached out to Seller Support, but haven’t received any clear explanation or solution.

My suspicion is that Amazon may not be properly linking the GS1 prefix to my brand name, or that their system doesn't yet recognize the UPC as part of an existing catalog product. If anyone has faced this issue or knows a workaround — especially for GS1 UPCs and branded items — I would sincerely appreciate your insights.

I'm reaching out regarding an unresolved issue with inaccurate Rufus AI-generated responses on one of our product listings (ASIN: B077871MVP).

We opened a support ticket on May 29 (Case ID: 17824975531), but have not received a resolution yet.

The issue is as follows:

We added three test questions to our Brand Story and EBC FAQ modules.

Rufus is still answering those questions inaccurately, even though the correct information is clearly available in our A+ content and bullet points.

These misleading responses may confuse potential buyers and negatively affect the customer experience.

We have documented the problem with clear demonstrations and explanations and are ready to provide further details if needed.

We are seeking:

  1. Escalation of the case to the appropriate technical team handling Rufus content integration.
  2. Guidance on how we can influence Rufus AI to better understand and use our correct product information.

We appreciate any input, suggestions, or similar experiences from fellow sellers or the Amazon team.

We’ve been waiting for a resolution on case 17997831861 since June 27 regarding an inbound FBA shipment with significant unit discrepancies across multiple MSKUs. Despite repeated follow-ups, Amazon has only responded with generic acknowledgments and no actionable updates.

An invoice showing the exact shipped quantities was attached when the case was opened. This continued delay is now affecting our ability to operate smoothly.

Has anyone had success escalating similar cases? Is it time to pursue reimbursement or go through Account Health or Escalation Support?

After fulfilling 637 orders across multiple marketplaces and maintaining a 73% lifetime positive feedback rating, Amazon has shut down my account — and is now withholding $1,619 in earned funds.

I completed their video identity verification, provided:

1. My government ID

2. Bank statement

3. Receipts and screenshots from my supplier

Despite full cooperation, Amazon responded with an outrageous accusation:

"Using your account to engage in deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, including fictitious transactions, review manipulation, and even money laundering."

They provided no specific evidence, and they refused to release my earned balance, even though the money comes from actual shipped orders.

This is not just account deactivation — this is character assassination over a small amount of money.

Amazon is a trillion-dollar company. If they can treat a small seller like this — holding earned money while accusing us of fraud — what protection does any seller really have?

We work hard, ship real products, and serve Amazon customers. But when you're small, it seems like you're disposable.
