Significant decrease of sales through Amazon

I am selling toys and I have noticed a significant decrease of sales through Amazon last months (around 30-50% in comparsion with same period of last year). I am doing the same things like in the past (checking the supplies, prices, etc), also I have a positive account health.

Have you notices same problems, or is this a common sign of any sales in Amazon, or were there some changes in the system or new rules?? Dont you know what could be the reason?

Inventory System Bug

Hi Amazon

We list two new pressure-reducing toys with magnets in May this year, but during the delivery period (no sales), our products were subject to product safety random inspections and reviews. Please check Case ID: 11236214092; 11216575702.

In June, our inventory arrived at Amazon warehouse, but the product details page was deleted. We provided the required documents as required. On July 2 and July 3, we received a notification from the product safety team that we had passed the product safety review and informed our products that we would recover. However, almost a week has passed. Although our product details page has been restored, a large part of our new product inventory is still in unsold (defective products), and our product inventory has not been restored!

It has been almost a week now, and the relevant team has not responded! This has seriously affected our sales business. Please help us process it as soon as possible and restore our inventory!

Customer False Product Authenticity Claim

A customer has incorrectly speculated that a product they have purchased from our FBA store is not authentic. They have even left a negative review falsely claiming that they are worried if the product is counterfeit.

Now the listing has automatically been removed by Amazon and I have been left with a violation which is hurting our sales and store health.

I have provided the necessary invoices and bank statements to seller support demonstrating the goods were purchased from a legitimate and well established supplier in the UK.@Seller_mIRnuhdx7l5sN@Seller_XUNeUuvrQDpgPcan either of you help with this please?

Account deactivated- verification failure

Hello,

Our UK account was deactivated because Amazon was unable to verify the information we provided (KYC). Unfortunately, we are unclear on which specific documents or details caused the issue. We reached out to Seller Support to identify the root cause, but the response we received was a generic message, and no specific reasons were provided.

Additionally, from the Account Health page, there appears to be no option to submit additional documents or to appeal.

We would greatly appreciate any guidance or suggestions on how to reinstate our account.

Invoice from the distributor not accepted by Amazon

I applied to sell Nerf branded products in toys category several times, but each time rejected until now. In application to sell, I was asked to have an invoice of minimum 100 units. I have an invoice of 126 units of one ASIN from the distributor of the brand. Rejection is done automatically as I understand from the mail, because in each application to sell, I receive different reasons for rejection, and there's no signature at the end.

I really don't know how I will convince Amazon that the invoice is from the original distributor and an authentic, unaltered invoice.

As a new seller, I was eligible to sell Winco branded items. So, I listed the items and tried to send to Amazon warehouse as FBA. But, I got en error saying that I need to apply to sell to send to Amazon even if I was able to list. Then, I applied to sell and I purchased 200 units from one of the ASINS as requested in application to sell. My purchase was from one of the distributors of the brand which was confirmed by the brand to me by mail. After several applications to sell (many rejections), invoice has been approved by Amazon with manual check (I understand that it was checked by a person form the signature of that person in the approval mail). Then, I sent 100 units of the item that I purchased as 200 units. After I sent the items to Amazon warehouse, I received an email from Amazon stating that I need to apply to sell again, and I was gated one more time. I asked this to Amazon by chat, they told me that if I apply to sell again, it will be approved quickly.

I applied again several times until today, but I am repetadly declined. The invoice is authentic, not a proforma invoice or packing slip or a sales order, it's an original invoice from the distributor of the brand as confirmed by the brand, too. All my applications are declined with an automatic mail, not a manual check or review. The stock is in stranded inventory now, and I am really stuck and don't know what to do. Everything is as requested by Amazon, but I can not go further.

Any suggestion?

Hello

I keep getting this error when I create a shipment for FBA. I have been getting it for approx 2 months.

All of my packages are well within the max size and weight that DPD allow.

I have tried and tried contacting amazon seller support for no help forthcoming.

There was a previous thread but not sure if it got resolved and it is locked

VAT on Product Final Price

Hi,

At revenue calculator I notice there is an "Other Cost" automatically showes some amount while using mobile app. On laptop or computer tge same option mentioned as VAT in percent and by default it shows 20%.

My question is: do I need to pay the VAT on my each sale?

Note: I am not VAT registered and my turnover will not go beyond £90000 yearly.

Is anyone else waiting for their documents to be accepted/verified?

We submitted ours well over 3 weeks ago, and are still waiting. In the meantime, I can't list any new products and we're paying for these services to a third party - so in effect losing money.

I've tried opening a case with seller support, but as usual they seem non the wiser.

Hi all,

I am a new seller and need some assistance on getting my brand approved. I first tried to get my brand approved and Amazon’s team responded that the brand needed to be permanently affixed on the product or packagings. To this I had to accrue some additional expense and ordered a stamp and tried again and then the team responded for the same brand name with the below msg.

During our review of your application, we have identified that the Brand Name you submitted **xyz** is misusing another Brand's intellectual property rights. To maintain a safe and trustworthy shopping experience, this Brand name cannot be approved for use on Amazon. In view of the aforementioned, we had to decline your application.

I see thousands of brands which are just strings of characters getting approved so it’s very confusing why this was not raised in the first round of review.

On checking the brand list of Amazon’s brands, the brand name I was applying for wasn’t registered so it’s quite confusing and not reliable especially for new sellers.

Any help on this would be appreciated as it’s honestly very frustrating.
