Hello Amazon Team and Fellow Sellers,
I need urgent help and clarity regarding a very frustrating situation.
There’s a listing where multiple professional sellers — including myself — are offering the product at competitive prices, with fast shipping and in full compliance with Amazon’s policies. However, despite this, none of the sellers are winning the Buy Box. Amazon itself is holding the Buy Box, and it’s been like this for days (if not weeks).
How is this fair? What’s the logic behind allowing Amazon Retail to monopolize the Buy Box, while qualified 3P sellers with excellent metrics are completely excluded?
This feels like a clear violation of the fairness Amazon promises in its Buy Box policies. We invest in inventory, pricing strategy, and fast fulfillment — yet we’re shut out for no explained reason.
I've already opened a case (Case ID: 18022682141) but haven’t received a proper explanation or resolution.
Can someone from Amazon please explain:
Why Amazon is retaining the Buy Box when there are competitive and eligible sellers?
Is this temporary? If so, what criteria need to be met for 3P sellers to regain Buy Box access?
Is there any transparency left in Buy Box allocation?
This is directly affecting our sales, morale, and confidence in the platform. I would really appreciate serious attention to this matter.
