Give the gift of knowledge this year and share your advice in Seller Forums for a chance to win 1 of 10 £100 Amazon gift cards! See Terms and Conditions.

Amazon EU Sàrl, 38 avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg, a Luxembourg entity (“Amazon”) is the promoter and prize provider of this competition. No purchase or payment required to enter or win. The promotion begins and ends on the dates and times specified in the linked announcement for the promotion (e.g., the post on Seller Forums, email, social media, and Seller Central). You must be a legal resident of the UK and 18 years of age or older to participate. Limit one entry per Seller Forums account. You must be an actively enrolled Amazon selling partner with a Seller Forums account. You may enter the promotion via one of the entry methods described. To participate, review the linked announcement for this promotion and follow the instructions to enter. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Our and our affiliates’ employees and their immediate family members, and associates enrolled in the Amazon Associates program are not eligible to participate.

Potential winners will be notified as specified in the linked announcement for the promotion within 5 days of the end of the promotion, and once notified, you will have 72 hours to claim the prize. If the potential winner does not respond within 72 hours or if the potential winner is deemed ineligible prior to the prize being awarded, Amazon may, in its sole discretion, award the applicable prize to an alternate potential winner.

By entering the promotion, you agree that Amazon and its affiliates, the prize provider(s), and Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter, will have no liability, and will be held harmless from and against any liability or loss, including reasonable attorney’s fees and costs, for all matters related to your acceptance, possession, experience with, use or misuse of the prize or participation in the promotion. You also agree to a release of any claims to intellectual property or proprietary knowledge that you choose to include in your response or submission to the promotion.

By entering the promotion, you consent to your Amazon Seller Forums username being shared publicly if you are selected as a winner. Account Wrongly and Unfairly Deactivated
by Seller_DKYLaIYuwsf5f

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well.

I wanted to make a post as I feel as though I have exhausted all my options and would probably benefit from another persons perspective and maybe get some advice too.

My account was deactivated on the 18th of October due to inauthentic claims (a product which I had not sold over 9 months, and which ASIN no longer exists on Amazon marketplace) and was requested to submit a supplier invoice matching the sales volume over the last 365 days. I had submitted my invoice, ensuring to match the required information (Website, Telephone Number, Email Address and Address).

I had then received a follow ups saying that this was insufficient information. The part which I was confused about is that the distributor I had purchased this brand from was not only an authorized distributor, but also the parent company of said brand. I had explained this in a follow up submission, in the form of a letter of appeal, outlining that the distributor is the owner of the brand with screenshots from the brand website themselves showing evidence the distributor is the parent owner of that brand, and also had an notarized affidavit proving that my products were in fact completely authentic.

A week or so after this follow submission I had received another rejection email stating “we do not have enough information to reactivate your account”. As a last resort I have been emailing the managing director email however it has been two weeks since then and have just sent a follow up, but have yet to receive a response.

I was wondering if anyone could provide their two pence on this and perhaps guide me towards ways in which could benefit my appeal and prove my products authenticity.

Apologies for rambling and thank you for any help you’re able to provide.

GSPR and FBA Inventory
by Seller_k3Vg0M8rm1hi8

My apologies if this is a duplicated topic, however I am unable to find a specific response. Can anybody shed any light on what happens to stock held in UK FBA centres on the 13th December. By this I mean any stock held that doesn't currently conform to the new GSPR regulations as it doesn't currently need to but will do after the 13th? Hope that makes sense....

Need some help with GPSR
by Seller_29AF2b8VJNr8z

So according to Amazon GPSR is for non-food items, I sell predominantly grocery items, (I do sell a few other bits and they’re not the issue) but I keep getting GPSR requests in my EU marketplaces. I didn’t mind that much at first but now it’s gone on for months and it’s now becoming extremely annoying as I’ve deleted quite a few listings for no reason. I contacted seller support but they’re obviously as useful as a bikini in a snow storm. I gave them a few ASINs that were affected but they asked me for a spreadsheet with the other ASINs which I don’t have, now they’re deleted it’s a mission to find the ASINs again. I’m also not that bothered about the ones I’ve deleted but I’m still getting GPSR requests and I don’t want this to carry on any further.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/sp?ie=UTF8&seller=A2UNWWF6PBRERT&asin=B00ZCAXFOG&ref_=dp_merchant_link

How is this seller still able to sell on Amazon?

Since August they have not had 1 positive feedback, every single one is the same story. They are sending envelopes saying "item is out of stock" instead of the physical product. This is deceivingly bypassing the SFP despatch rate/on time delivery metrics.

Also the feedback keeps showing this as a fulfilment issue when it is clearly not and just a scam by the seller.

I know multiple other sellers who have complained about this seller but nothing has happened, it does not take a genius to look at the feedback and see what is happening. Why is it so hard for Amazon to look into this fraudulent actions?

Amazon a home for thiefs
by Seller_Kf5uFNYSIGjJD
Amazon replied

Why do amazon nearly 100% of the time give customers there money back when you can prove and give amazon all the information proving the customer had the item. Amazon are making it easy for customers to get stuff for free and dont support the seller. This must be the new way of shoplifting. Amazon really need to start looking at this and giving more help to sellers and stop customers getting away with it

Payments down 10 to 20%, yet sales are the same.
by Seller_irQgF3ytRk7LC

We noticed our fortnightly payments are down about 10-20% for the past 2 months, yet our sales are very similar to what they have always been.

We cant pinpoint why this is.

I remember seeing a news item earlier this year , where the seller would be charged for out of stock items.

1.Does anyone know where I can pinpoint these charges?

2. Do you now get charged for inactive items of which we have several dozen?

Thanks

Hi, Please escalate this and have someone look into this. Instead of sending me generic responses about Amazon policies, please can you actually use some common sense and look into the issue!!!!! See case id: 10515730602

On the 14th of November the someone has wrongly updated this ASIN’s B073SH5GJT in the Amazon catalogue with the wrong product information, you have updated the title of a hair gel (made by the Nivea brand) , to reflect a children’s card game (made by Asmodee brand).

Therefore I do not believe that is an intentional change that the Nivea brand has made and or authorized. (However there is no mechanism within Amazon for sellers to actually inform the brand owner of these changes, which would fix these types of issue without the involvement from Seller "zero" support).

Anyone with any level of common sense can see that ASIN: B073SH5GJT is not a children's card game.

Please see

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B073SH5GJT

Does this look like a childrens card game or a pot of hair gel and does everything else in the listing reflect a card game or hair styling product????????

Please update this back to the old and correct item title (which has been in place for at least 9 months, until yesterday!!!!!!) which was:

Nivea Men Styling Cream (1x150ml) pack of 1, Hair Cream for Malleable Hold without Hardening, Flexible Hair Gel for a Natural Look

Which is the correct item title to anyone with a degree of common sense, or are Amazon only policies designed to deliberately stop things from being fixed when clearly there has been an error updating the wrong product and things get wrongly updated?????.

Common on Amazon, you spend more on R&D annually than every British company combined!!!! However, you can't fix obvious errors like this. How about diverting 0.5% of your R&D budget into seller support to fix issues in the Amazon catelogue?

Thanks

I've read everywhere saying that no HTML is allowed apart from line breaks. I've seen people mention
,
and
. I've tried all of them, but it's possible my formatting is wrong, as they just appear as written with no line break.

Please could someone lay out for me how I should use them?

Thank you
