my amazon account was suspended a few months ago and I registered the help of .thompsonstein.net who say they are amazon suspension lawyers, as I was just going around in circles with amazon. really just wanted to end this hell! the lawyers however asked for my merchant token id and email which is associated with my amazon account which i gullibly just handed over, now Im worried whether they even are genuine!

please help, any ideas or suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Merging similar products

Hi Experts

We have several products listed which are similar just size or finish that is different.

Is there a way to merge these into one common listing ? I think it could be create a new variant family but as with all things Amazon the documentation is not easy to follow and some time a thousand words are used when 10 would do. Any help appreciated.

Add a product - copy listing

Hi all,

i just went to add a product from seller central and underneath 'sell this product' there is a blue bar saying 'copy listing'

clicking on that takes you to a page to input details to make a new catalogue listing using the current details from the active listing.

if this is used i can see the catalogue getting even more messed up than it is already.

thoughts anyone?

Faulty disc - or faulty customer!

Customer requested a return of a Blu-ray disc as "it would not load". I asked if he had a Blu-ray player rather than a DVD player as we've never had a faulty Blu-ray. Turns out he only had a DVD player! Amazon refunded and charged me for return label. Blu-ray arrived today - dirty finger marks all over it, especially near the centre. Even if he had a Blu-ray player it would not have played. Best part of £25 down the drain - disc in bin. Happily these faulty customers are rare.

so my account has been suspended for months and got all my stock back but I’ve recently been hit with a huge return fee but I no longer have money in my business and all my cards are shut down? What do I do? It’s a LTD company and I can’t afford to pay the fees, any advice

AI and the Amazon BOTS are about to be let loose on the product catalogue, so instead of having about 30% of the catalogue with errors it will probably rise to about 75% and although there appears to be a way to object to it however I doubt that anything will ever happen as the catalogue team do not communicate with sellers, seller support or account health and refuse to change any incorrect information on listings as they never look at any of the reports and ONLY the brand representative can make changes, which means 99.9% of sellers can't change anything.

So when your set of kitchen pans gets described as perfect for cats and dogs or your car accessory it defined as a cooking utensil, don't be surprised.

Amazon VAT Transaction report

The company sells through Amazon. When the data is ready, we export the Amazon VAT transaction report. How do we report Inbound? The report only shows the number of units (those that have been released). Do you correct the actual number of units delivered to the Amazon warehouse, and where do you enter the value of the Inbound before submitting the file to your representative?

Selling application issues

Hello!

I've been struggling with a selling application to be able to sell Stanley Cups having purchased directly from Stanley via their website. I initially (in hindsight an error) uploaded the order confirmation via email to try and obtain brand approval.

However I have subsequently requested an invoice having watched the video about requesting approval to resell branded and reapplied with the invoice.

The issue I'm facing now is that the response to the request is stating that they cannot validate my order with the supplier. Retrying just gets a generic response saying I've not uploaded anything new.

What are my options here? I'm not going to order more products unless I know i can get brand approval and can sell them. Has anyone been through something similar or does anyone have any advice?

I've reached out to Stanley/distributor to help but I'm not getting very far with this.
