 In the event that verification is fruitless and at the same time customer service is not acting at all, I can only ask for a refund of the fees deducted as my account has not yet begun to be used. Amazon's fees should only be deducted if the account is verified and not if the user's account is not working properly yet, this is unreasonable.

I'm checking the disbursements reports for the day, and the payment should be made today and usually is, but Amazon haven't updated it yet on the disbursement report.

Anyone else facing this

found a bug/error with FBA lost inbound reimbursements

ok when amazon reimburse for a lost inbound item as part of the UPS partner program

they would reimburse the seller so that the seller would receive the proceeds they would have had the item not been lost.

but now that VAT is charged by Amazon on commission and fba charges this amount is being deducted from the reimbursements but it is not recoverable elsewhere as no vat was charged as the sale/fba despatch did not occur.

does that make sense?

best for me to explain it this way.

product sells for £50.00 inc vat - nett is £41.67

vat on that is £8.33

amazon fees of £7.50 + 1.50 vat

fba fee £2.89 + 0.58 vat

if the item had sold the seller would have received from amazon £37.53 but then has to pay £8.33 vat

but can claim back £1.50 + £0.58 of vat on the vat return.

in this example the inbound item was lost by amazon.

amazon have repaid us £29.20

but we cannot recover the £1.50 + £0.58 as the fees (and accompanying vat) were never charged but the value of those fees was deducted as gross amounts from the reimbursement instead of being deducted as nett of vat from the reimbursement due.

I think this has affected all UK sellers with FBA lost inbound reimbursements since 01/08/2024

Please Help - UK Establishment Advice

I rented out a space for my business for all correspondence and stock deliveries. I have a rental agreement in place and a contract and invoices of the rent i pay. As part of this agreement i do not pay the utility bills. My monthly fee is to use the premises for post and delivery of stock from my suppliers.

I got an email from Amazon asking me to show proof that my business is established in the UK for VAT purposes, i sent all my documents which included

- Rental Agreement, 6 months of invoices, supplier invoices to my registered business address, my passport.

However i have been told the evidence is not sufficient and they need a utility bill. This is the one thing i don't have as i don't pay the utility bills which is quite normal where you rent out a business space for your mail etc.

Please can I get advice on what i can do in my situation ? I have spoken to the Amazon Account Health Team a number of times who advise that the only way i can show evidence is by using a utility bill.

My accountant has advised to change the registered business address to my house address (which i am in the process of doing with Companies House) and run my business from my residential address however the amazon account health team has advised that this will lead to my account being shut down if i change my business address to my house address.

How do I rectify this situation ? has anyone got past this ?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi,

I'm a relatively new seller (2 months old). I have recently encountered issues where I have been perfectly fine adding products to existing listings until this week where I have had active listings made inactive. Amazon have not been clear why this is the case even after contacting seller support directly. I have just been informed that Amazon reserve the right to deactivate listings due to changes in the "Categories and Products Approval" policy. This I believe is telling me that there are either restrictions or they have limited my category access for some reason. The option to re-apply is not even available anymore and I am not sure not what to do.

This was the issue with one ASIN to begin with however, another one of my products has now been removed as well but strangely a variation of that same product is still active and selling.

More frustratingly, I have just realised that a product I had just sourced and purchased that was initially available to apply to sell under is now unavailable.

Can anyone with experience or any Amazon representative please tell help?

they ignore messages , they want fake information to be generated, they hold money for years to use it some were else and they only have auto reply sets with ai so there is no customer service whats so ever

I received this odd message two days ago saying that Amazon performance health (UK Marketplace) believes that my account is related to some other account in the USA which I never heard about ever before. and that since we are related they are deactivating my account as well in two days!

Seriously, that is no joke they did that. I called the Account health first time I was able to and they asked me to reach out to all my support service providers (anybody that have ever supported my account) and to check which one of them has also supported this mystery account). Again this is serious not a joke. I ran around like a headless chicken and spoke to all my providers and got screenshots proving that I worked with them etc. now they sent me an email saying my appeal has failed! and that my account is on its way for full deactivation shortly.

What should I do in this situation. I truly do NOT know this account. I am also based out of Canada and this account is apparently in the USA. I checked my credit cards there don't seem to be a case of fraud but I am now worried it may be identity theft of some kind maybe one of the freelancers I used for ads management gave him my name and address and he may have sold my products I remember seeing some similar name reselling my brand for dirt cheap months ago but I can't find it anymore to confirm

Anyways I can't do anything about it without knowing what they have that makes them think we are related.

ANY ADVICE PLEASE HELP!

Need some help with GPSR

So according to Amazon GPSR is for non-food items, I sell predominantly grocery items, (I do sell a few other bits and they’re not the issue) but I keep getting GPSR requests in my EU marketplaces. I didn’t mind that much at first but now it’s gone on for months and it’s now becoming extremely annoying as I’ve deleted quite a few listings for no reason. I contacted seller support but they’re obviously as useful as a bikini in a snow storm. I gave them a few ASINs that were affected but they asked me for a spreadsheet with the other ASINs which I don’t have, now they’re deleted it’s a mission to find the ASINs again. I’m also not that bothered about the ones I’ve deleted but I’m still getting GPSR requests and I don’t want this to carry on any further.
