Another holiday season is approaching, and we want to open a discussion on a Quick Tip: Enable holiday mode.

Sellers in other stores shared with us feedback that when you go on holiday and activate holiday mode on your account, you currently have no way to communicate to your customers the date when you will be back in operation and it causes inconvenience for both you and your customers.

We would like to collect feedback from you, which will help us identify any necessary changes.

We want to hear from you on the following questions:

• How many times a year do you go on holiday and activate holiday mode on your account?

• What specific problems have you encountered in not being able to communicate the return date to your customers? Have there been complaints, loss of sales, or anything else?

• What alternative solutions would you suggest, in addition to the automatic message (e.g., notice on the store page, push notifications to customers, etc.)?

We would appreciate your insights!

Hi everyone,

Hope you are well.

My account has been deactivated on Saturday due to linked account.

I spoke to account health support team member yesterday ''Treysi'', she told me that in Mexico an Amazon account has been created with same business name as mine and she asked me to submit business registration documents and explanation in which you can explain that you have nothing to do with that account, further she asked me to investigate into it.

I did not create any other account in any Amazon Marketplace ever, I created only one Amazon account in United Kingdom.

My question is that, if someone in Maxico decided to create an account with same business name as mine, how can I be responsible for that? and being an ordinary amazon seller how can I investigate and make amazon believe that I have nothing to do with that Mexican Amazon account.

So far I have submitted Companies house Certificate, Incorporation Document and Bank Statement, what else I can provide to prove that I have nothing to do with that account.

Please help me, it is peak business days of Christmas was preparing for these days from months.

I cannot close my account because it has been 'deactivated by Amazon as I do not have a VAT number. For over A YEAR I have been telling Amazon that I am not nor ever will be registered for VAT as 1. I am not required to register given my previous turnover and 2. I have closed the business!

Amazon support have been ABSOLUTELY USELESS in relation to this matter.

Basically, they have said that unless I provide a VAT registration number they will not reactivate my account. I cannot provide this!

So, how do I get my account reactivated, my inventory returned and my account closed???

Furthermore I am unable to remove my credit card from my account and they are still charging me for storing the inventory I want returned!!

I have NEVER dealt with a more unprofessional company than Amazon!

is it just ce marked products that the safety info applies to or all products? There is a do not apply button for all my listings but it would take a long time? The responsible person costs seem high, are there any that are a reasonable cost or companies that can help with all of this? Do you need a responsible person if there are no safety issues? Confused by it all to be honest, the costs seem too high and time consuming to sort out everything but I didn't want to lose the eu market. Do the safety labels/ additional labels print automatically also once everything is filled in/sorted out properly?

Account Suspension - Help Needed Please

We have been successfully selling on Amazon UK for two years without any issues and in June 2024 we were asked to go through the verification process again.

We submitted the documents for the Beneficial Owner and Primary Contact, but had issues with the PO Box address used. After a couple of submissions, we received the below message:

"Dear Seller,

We were unable to verify the information you provided when registering for a Selling on Amazon payment account and, as a result, your Selling on Amazon payment account could not be opened. Unfortunately, this means that you will not be able to continue to sell on Amazon.

We leveraged a combination of automated means and expert human review to identify this issue and make this decision.

Please take appropriate steps to resolve any open orders. Note that any amounts paid as a result of A-to-z Guarantee claims and chargebacks may be deducted from the balance in your existing Seller Account."

I have tried appealing the decision but just get the message:

"We reviewed your account and the information you provided, and we have decided that you may not open a selling on Amazon account."

Can somebody please help? I'm unsure of how we can proceed when we keep receiving automated replies.

I'd be grateful if an Amazon representative can kindly assist!

I would like to close my Amazon EU/UK account entirely for good. My EU/UK account has not been active in use for several years now. Amazon claims I cannot close my account due to invalid VAT. Now that Amazon will no longer support VAT and Taxually will be taking over. I would like to close my Amazon UK account entirely. How can I do this? I am constantly being charged by Amazon by using the VAT service for years now. Please help me resolve this. What needs to be done? Can Taxually help me on this matter? Can I re-instante this invalid VAT with them just so I can close my EU/UK account entirely?

customer purchased mattress protector and give negative feedback (dented metal work & damaged tyre), many times i ask customer to this but the customer didn't reply & also ask amazon but they also don't able to resolve this.

Its decreased my sales which seriously a free headache

The rejection of CWL1 has caused us significant economic losses. @ Winston_Amazon

We ship according to the warehouse automatically allocated by Amazon: CWL1

When delivering to the warehouse, it was discovered that CWL1 is a standard parts warehouse.

We have seen many shop owners encountering such situations.

Can't accept our shipment, why does Amazon require us to deliver it to CWL1.

Even now, creating shipments is still sent to CWL1!

The case did not solve the problem!!

Expected weight is almost always completely off

Is there a reason for this? I know I can ignore the warning but I'm sending in 10 gaming controllers that are 4kg boxed. The "expected" weight is over 100kg. How is that even possible?

They ignore the question I raised on an A-Z claim

The customer should not be able to raise a claim without contacting the seller first - is the policy - so how come, yet again, this happens - I see many sellers have the same issue

If you quote the policy back to A-Z the question is ignored and a standard response is issued that has nothing to do with the policy ?
