You must be a legal resident of the UK and 18 years of age or older to participate. Limit one entry per Seller Forums account. You must be an actively enrolled Amazon selling partner with a Seller Forums account. You may enter the promotion via one of the entry methods described. By entering the promotion, you agree that Amazon and its affiliates, the prize provider(s), and Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter, will have no liability, and will be held harmless from and against any liability or loss, including reasonable attorney’s fees and costs, for all matters related to your acceptance, possession, experience with, use or misuse of the prize or participation in the promotion. You also agree to a release of any claims to intellectual property or proprietary knowledge that you choose to include in your response or submission to the promotion.

By entering the promotion, you consent to your Amazon Seller Forums username being shared publicly if you are selected as a winner. If the prize is an Amazon Gift Card (“GC”), each winner must have or will need to create an Amazon.co.uk account in order to redeem the GC. SHIPPING OVERCHARGES BY AMAZON / EVRI
by Seller_9jrM2OTozT6ol

I am horrified.... I have just downloaded my October Merchant by Shipping Label Invoice. Whilst I have never previously studied these in great detail I spent sometime to study this one as I have read on the forums that there are issues. The horrific's of the subject is that I am being charged twice for the same shipping order / labels . I purchased a label through Amazon on 30/10/2023 for £9.17 inc. VAT and on my 2024 invoice I have been charged for exactly the same tracking number an additional £10.80 inc.VAT. Furthermore, on the same October 2024 invoice I have been charged twice for another shipping order / label with the same tracking number for a label originally purchased 15/11/2023. There are also on this October 2024 invoice a multitude of additional costs ranging from £0.50p to £1.00 which is showing as a Service Amount. I am now ploughing through all previous invoices but in the meantime can anyone advise who to contact in order to challenge these concerns. I am also confused that the invoices are downloaded via Amazon and yet the invoice is from Grattan PLC in Bradford to which I can not find the relationship with EVRI.

Brand name changed on listing
by Seller_GbSfKvtu8DyDi

Hi there,

I'm having a technical issue with one of my brands (Koju) listing. We own a brand called Koju, which is enrolled into Amazon’s brand registry and has been for many years. Yesterday I edited one of my listings, to make some updates (ASIN: B0BSVJCP59), however after saving the listing the brand name has partially changed to a random brand name called "AONELAS". No idea what is going on!

We created this listing a couple of years ago and it has always been under our brand name Koju and is connected to our brand registry account and has Koju A+ content etc. So I have no idea how this happened or is even possible.

On the front end it shows "AONELAS" under the brand name section and store name, however when you click into the "AONELAS" store name, it takes you to my brand Koju store. This ASIN can then we found in my Koju store. In the listing editor, it shows Koju under the brand name section which is greyed out and can’t be edited, however in small writing above this it shows "AONELAS". Please see screenshots.

This is clearly some strange technical glitch or error on Amazons side. I have been trying to get seller support to help with this issue, however we're just going around in circled and I keep getting copy and paste responses saying that they cannot change brand names on listing. They clearly do not understand the issue / what is going on here. Can any of the Amazon forum mods please help?

PAN-EU FBA ADVICE
by Seller_hR68pED2HDzBb

We recently acquired our VAT number in germany, and now we are ready to send our stock to FBA in germany. When sending the shipment, we are asked who we would like to use as our customs broker, amazon reccommends a company called AVASK. We have read the reviews and they don't look too sharp, who is a good outfit for customs clearance of our fba shipments? We already have the VAT number so do not require any of those services.

We are based in the UK.

I have just noticed the the Black Friday deal window is 10 days +. I may be mistaken but I thought it was just one day in previous years. Does this mean I will need to sell my products at rediculously discounted prices (determined by Amazon) for this whole period to compete? If thats what they expect I may as well stay at home!

Mengenrabatte erstellen
by Seller_knVyMjKIwu668

Guten Morgen ,

How to package a calendar for FBA
by Seller_bH5My4pQDILrT

I've never done FBA before, if I were to send calendars in how should I package them for the Amazon Fulfillment Centre.

If I sold them at a fair or something I'd just put them in a plastic sleeve, whereas, if I posted them to a customer I'd put them inside an All Board Envelope. So, would I be best to put each one in a plastic sleeve or all-board envelope?

Thanks

It's getting a bit surreal again....
by Seller_UN9ILzxADiCK3

I just got an email from the Amazon Seller Services:

Dear Seller,

The following listings are at the risk of deactivation due to violations of our policies. We are reaching out to you about this issue before it impacts your ability to sell so we can resolve this with limited impact to your business. To prevent the removal of this ASIN, please take the requested actions through your Account Health page before the dates listed on the Account Health page. You can find details of the at-risk ASINs below.

Why is this happening?

We have taken this measure because we suspect your listing for this product infringes on the intellectual property of others. The product detail page for this product uses the trademarked logo of another rights owner. We have not been able to confirm that you are authorized to use this trademark on the product detail page. Unauthorized or incorrect use of this trademarked logo is likely to cause confusion as to the source, endorsement, or affiliation of the goods. Infringement of a trademark is a violation of Amazon Intellectual Property Policy: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/201361070

How to address the listing violation?

To address your listing violation, click ‘Resolve’ next to each affected ASIN in the Suspected Intellectual Property Violations section of your Account Health page. The violation, along with the name of the brand that owns the trademark can be found under the “Reason” column on the Product Policy Compliance page on https://sellercentral.amazon.com/performance/dashboard?ref=ah_em_abp .

To successfully appeal, you will need to submit the listing to Amazon for review after editing it in one of the following ways:

1. Remove the trademarked logo from the product detail page entirely, OR

2. Change the brand name to accurately reflect the product and match trademarked logo used on the product detail page, OR

3. Update the detail page to add compatibility terms before the trademarked term, if the product is using the trademarked term to refer to another product, such as “charger for Kindle E-Reader”, “charger compatible with Kindle E-Reader”, and “charger made for Kindle E-Reader”.

Note: There are legal requirements for the use of compatibility terms. You can learn more about these in the Amazon Intellectual Property policy: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/201361070

Once you have updated the listing as requested above and are ready to have the listing reviewed for reactivation, notify us on your Account Health page by clicking the 'Resolve' next to the deactivated listing and following the instructions provided: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/performance/dashboard?ref=ah_em_abp .

Have your listings been removed in error?

If you believe there has been an error, you can submit an explanation through your Account Health page (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/performance/dashboard?ref=ah_em_abp ), click Resolve next to the affected ASIN and follow the instructions provided in the Has your listing been deactivated in error section. Your explanation should include the following information:

1. A letter of authorisation or licensing agreement proving that you are authorised by the rights owner to create and list products using their trademarked logo in relation to your product. The documentation submitted must meet the following criteria:

- The document includes name and address of rights owner.

- The document explicitly authorises you to use the rights owners’ intellectual property with your own brand name.

2. An explanation and any evidence or documentation demonstrating how the listings do not violate our intellectual property policies.

What happens if I do not address the policy violation?

The listing violation notification for this ASIN will continue to remain on your Account Health page for 180 days. We encourage you to address this violation notice to ensure you maintain good account health. If you do not take steps to address this policy violations and incur additional violations, your Amazon selling account may be deactivated.

You can view your account performance at https://sellercentral.amazon.com/performance/dashboard?ref=ah_em_abp or by selecting Account Health on the home page of the Amazon Seller app on your iOS or Android device. The Account Health page shows how well your account is performing against the performance metrics and policies that are required to sell on Amazon.

We are here to help.

If you have questions about this policy or your account, contact us at: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/cu/contact-us

Thank you.

Amazon

We leveraged a combination of automated means to identify this issue and make this decision.

ASINs:

B0CQ8W5D9R

1. I do not sell the ASIN in question

2. There is no violation on the account health page

3. I can't even find the ASIN on amazon catalogue

How is this even possible?

How is this seller still able to sell on Amazon?

Since August they have not had 1 positive feedback, every single one is the same story. They are sending envelopes saying "item is out of stock" instead of the physical product. This is deceivingly bypassing the SFP despatch rate/on time delivery metrics.

Also the feedback keeps showing this as a fulfilment issue when it is clearly not and just a scam by the seller.

I know multiple other sellers who have complained about this seller but nothing has happened, it does not take a genius to look at the feedback and see what is happening. Why is it so hard for Amazon to look into this fraudulent actions?

EU Responsible Person
by Seller_IQo80d99W2DzP

Hi

Any Sellers used: (Removed by moderator)

Or, any other Co's that have been good?

There seems to be a lot around, but who is good is the thing.

The whole thing is madness anyway, it does not mean the item will be safe as the agent will not be aware if they are dealing with a decent maker, or not.

I can buy item Certificates already, so that means nothing either unless random tests done as even UK makers will not know if real certificates and tests performed.

It would be far better if NI was not part of EU Regs, and then just to ensure all Sellers and Manufacturers had full insurance with proof, say a database from Insurance Companies, as proof.

This whole issue is due to so many Sellers not being in the EU, so maybe EU Sellers must have an EU Insurance Company, so everyone knows at least covered if electrocuted, etc.

Sales way down on this time last year.
by Seller_0lQP368tpx7Wc

My sales both FBA and FBM over the last 2 months are 40% down on this time last year, is anyone else finding this dramatic drop. I have 100% buy box on the majority of my listings.

By the way, this forum is not half as good as it used to be, eg, there isn't a category to fit this post, I wonder why?
